Objetivo

Reporting to the Education Programme Manager, the selected person would be responsible for the formulation, implementation, assessment and follow-up of the education projects that are presented by the local Counterpart Organisations.

Key responsibilities would be:

- Supervise and monitor the drawing up, execution and assessment of projects by counterparts
- Analyse the technical and economic viability of project proposals presented.
- Monitor the work of the partner throughout the entire project cycle (planning, execution, measuring, evaluation and learning).
- Review the narrative, financial and assessment reports from partners.
- Participate in the process of the strategic planning of the programme of the country.
- Propose, implement and assess the developmental processes and the training of the partners within technical and managerial fields.
- Draw up and monitor the implementation of the auditing and assessment processes.
- Participate in the country and programme meetings.
Contract of employment: one year renewable contract.
Working hours: 40h a week. Working hours depends on the functions to realise.
Availability of dedicating some week-ends, especially journey for the following of the projects (working day recoverable)
Salary: According to the Intermón Oxfam’s country gauge.

Perfil:

- Local person or with a deep knowledge of Sudan
- University degree, preferably in, Education, Gender Studies, Economics, Social sciences, or similar
- One/ two years experience in a NGO dealing with women empowerment, girls education, gender in education or in the cooperation sector.
- Experience and knowledge of formulation, following and evaluation of cooperation projects and programmes.
- Knowledge of the country’s reality and its basic laws.
- Administrative and accounting knowledge
- Results orientation
- Planning, management and organisation skills.
- Communication and interpersonal relations skills.
- Proficiency in English. Sudanese Arabic and other languages of Sudan will be an advantage.
- Computer skills (Office, Internet, E-mail)
- Driving licence and availability for travel.
- Motivation to work with local civil societies in terms of building their capacities in organisation management.
- Motivation for international cooperation, development and fight against poverty.
